The four Akassa phinisi, side by side

Size the party first. Up to 10 guests, the choice is Akassa Cruise, Derya or Giona. From 11 to 18, it is Semesta Voyages, which is the only boat above 10.

Giona has 4 cabins and the lowest price of the three small boats. Derya has 4 cabins and gives more space, with the Padar VIP Suite balcony and bathtub as its headline. Akassa Cruise has 3 suites, the most private, with a hot water system.

Semesta Voyages has 8 suites in 6 types, an indoor lounge and satellite internet. The three smaller boats have local Wi-Fi only.

Each boat has its own page with suites, decks and fares. The compare page lines all four up by head count, and the charter page prices the whole boat.

Each boat names its cabins, and the features differ. Here is who has what.

• Private balcony: Laut and Langit on Akassa Cruise, Padar on Derya, Poseidon on Giona, Moon and Earth on Semesta Voyages.
• Jacuzzi: Laut on Akassa Cruise, Moon and Earth on Semesta Voyages.
• Bathtub: Langit on Akassa Cruise, Padar on Derya, Mars and Sun on Semesta Voyages.

Giona has no bathtub and no jacuzzi. Derya has no jacuzzi. Rinca and Kanawa on Derya sleep 2 on the lower deck. Their bathroom is confirmed in writing before you book them.

Every suite or cabin on all four boats has air conditioning.

Every boat has a sundeck with lazy chairs or daybeds, a stand-up paddle board, snorkeling equipment, floaties, a tender, canoes and a karaoke set. Derya's sundeck holds two white daybeds under a white sail awning, beside the mast. Semesta Voyages adds a rattan sofa and daybeds on its upper sundeck.

Akassa Cruise and Semesta Voyages have a hot water system. For Derya and Giona, ask us on WhatsApp if hot water matters to you.

Connection differs. Giona, Derya and Akassa Cruise use local Wi-Fi, not satellite. Semesta Voyages has satellite internet. We promise no speed. No boat promises a socket or a charging point in the cabin, so bring a power bank.

What the four share: free pickup in Labuan Bajo, three meals a day, water, coffee and tea, snorkeling gear, a stand-up paddle board, canoes and a sundeck. Boarding on a private charter starts at 10:00, and check-out is by 14:00.

What changes: the number of cabins, the decks they sit on and the fare. Akassa Cruise holds 3 suites, Derya 4 cabins, Giona 4 cabins and Semesta Voyages 8 suites. Three stop at 10 guests, and one carries 18.
