Two parties stand behind a trip. We book it. The boats' owner runs it.
We are PT Komodo Explorer Indonesia, a booking partner for the four boats of Akassa Project: Akassa Cruise, Derya, Giona and Semesta Voyages. Akassa Collection is the name of this site, and it is ours, not the owner's.
This is not the official site of the boats, and we are not the shipowner. We never call the boats or the crews ours. The Giona crew sails Giona. The Semesta Voyages crew sails Semesta Voyages.
What we are is the party that answers you. We price the whole boat, send the invoice, confirm every step in writing and stand behind the booking.
Jobs that sit with the booking team
Our side of the trip is everything before the gangway and the paperwork around it.
- Plan the route with you, around the hour of light you want.
- Name the boat that fits your party and say why.
- Price the whole boat or a Friday seat, and send the fare in writing.
- Invoice the deposit and the balance, and confirm each payment.
- Arrange the free pickup in Labuan Bajo, both ways, and the partner hotel nights.
- List the park fees as separate lines, and say what a drone permit needs.
- Replace the boat on your date, or refund, if the boat cannot sail.
We answer on WhatsApp in team hours, and every answer that matters is repeated in writing.
Jobs that stay on the boats
At sea the crew is in charge. The captain sets the stops and the anchorage each day, reading the weather and the tide, and that includes where the boat stays overnight.
The crews cook the meals, run the tender and look after the cabins and the decks. They give the safety briefing. They move the wake-up call when the light or the weather moves.
Guest conduct on board is the crew's call too. Conduct that endangers the boat, the crew or the park ends the charter without a refund, and the terms say so.
Dated facts and written confirmations
Boat details and photos come from Akassa Project, the operator of the four boats. Fares are the 2026 card, current on 26 October 2026.
Sunrise and sunset times are computed for Padar and Kalong, within about 2 minutes of the clock. Park fees follow PP 36/2024 and are dated on the park-fees page.
When a detail is not yet settled, such as a date, a permit or a bed layout, we say it is confirmed in writing before you pay.

The four boats are those of Akassa Project. We book them as a partner and do not own them. Details such as crew and boat size come from the operator, and we send them in writing.
Do you sell the shared trip too?
Yes. The Friday departure is the secondary way to travel, a seat priced per person on a 3D2N route with the local guide and documentation included. The departures page lists the dates, and a date runs once its minimum cabins are booked.
