Akassa Collection (Akassa Cruise, Derya, Giona, Semesta Voyages)
Sunrise and sunset by private boat, for two
Updated 26 October 2026
A Komodo couples sunrise and sunset private boat trip has two routes: a cabin of your own on a Friday departure, from IDR 4,600,000 (≈ USD 282) per person for 3D2N, or the whole boat for two, from IDR 45,000,000 (≈ USD 2,761). Padar at first light and Kalong at dusk are the two hours to plan around.
For two: one private cabin or the full hull
Two ways to sail as a pair. A Friday departure gives you a cabin and shares the boat with other guests. A private charter gives you the whole hull.
Friday seats start at IDR 4,600,000 (≈ USD 282) per person for 3D2N. A cabin of your own on Giona, the Triton Private Suite, costs IDR 5,000,000 (≈ USD 307) per person. On Akassa Cruise the Bumi Deluxe Suite costs IDR 9,500,000 (≈ USD 583) per person. A Friday date runs once the minimum cabins are booked: two on Akassa Cruise, Derya and Semesta Voyages and three on Giona.
The whole boat for two costs more and gives you everything. On Giona it comes to IDR 22,500,000 (≈ USD 1,380) per person for 3D2N. On Derya it is IDR 31,000,000 (≈ USD 1,902) per person, and on Akassa Cruise IDR 35,000,000 (≈ USD 2,147).
On a Friday seat, a local guide and photo or video documentation come with the fare. On a private charter you add them on request, at a separate price.
Light for two: Padar, Pink Beach, Kalong
Three hours matter to a pair. Everything else is swimming and lunch.
- Padar · first light · sunrise from the east, between 05:31 and 06:18 by month · a climb of 25 to 45 minutes, head torch for each of you
- Pink Beach · low sun gives the pale pink its color · the example route arrives after Komodo, in higher light · about 90 minutes, a swim and a walk
- Kalong · dusk · sunset in the west, between 17:49 and 18:27 by month · flying foxes leave the mangroves, watched from the deck
A pair is a small figure in a large frame. Go wide at Padar and let the three bays carry the picture. At Kalong, stand at the open edge of the deck and keep the horizon in.
The sky won't always cooperate, so no hour is guaranteed. Stops, anchorage and where you sleep are the captain's call on the day, with the weather in mind.
The suites with a balcony or bathtub
These are the suites with a private balcony, a jacuzzi or a bathtub.
- Laut Legendary Suite on Akassa Cruise · middle deck · private balcony, private bathroom and jacuzzi · up to 4 guests
- Langit VIP Suite on Akassa Cruise · upper deck · private balcony and bathtub · up to 4 guests
- Padar VIP Suite on Derya · upper deck · private balcony and bathtub · up to 4 guests
- Poseidon Master Suite on Giona · upper deck · private balcony · up to 4 guests
- Moon Owner's Suite on Semesta Voyages · upper deck · private balcony and jacuzzi · up to 4 guests
- Earth Master Balcony Suite on Semesta Voyages · middle deck · private balcony and jacuzzi · 2 guests
Langit and Padar are the two with both a balcony and a bathtub. Mars VIP Ocean Suite and Sun Master Ocean Suite on Semesta Voyages have a bathtub but no balcony.
On a private charter you sleep in the suite you choose, and nobody else books the rest. On a Friday departure you pick the suite when you book, and the cabin's seat fare follows it.
Pictures of the pair of you, on request
A private charter comes without a photographer. If you want one, we quote photo and video documentation as an extra. The Friday departure already includes it.
Tell us the hours you want covered, and we quote in writing before you pay.
Drone rules are a separate matter. A drone needs a SIMAKSI permit and a daily drone ticket, applied for in advance, and we never promise drone footage. Kalong is a no-fly zone.
Without a photographer, the plan still works. Prop the phone on the rail, set the timer, and take the first frame before the sun is up. Padar at first light and Kalong at dusk are the hours worth the effort.
Fares for a pair, boat by boat
For two guests: Akassa Cruise, Derya or Giona. A party of 11 to 18 is a different frame, and Semesta Voyages is its boat.
Giona has 4 cabins and the lowest price. Derya has 4 cabins, more space and the Padar VIP Suite, with balcony and bathtub. Akassa Cruise has 3 suites and is the most private, with the Laut Legendary Suite, balcony and jacuzzi, as its top cabin.
Whole boat for two, per person for 3D2N: Giona IDR 22,500,000 (≈ USD 1,380), Derya IDR 31,000,000 (≈ USD 1,902), Akassa Cruise IDR 35,000,000 (≈ USD 2,147). June to August dates come off a higher card, quoted in writing. Park entry and ranger fees are paid separately.
Send the dates and the light you want: sunrise, sunset or both.
