A private phinisi for a small group in Komodo means one boat for your party alone. Giona, Derya and Akassa Cruise take up to 10 guests, and Semesta Voyages takes up to 18. The whole boat for 3D2N starts at IDR 45,000,000 (≈ USD 2,761). The fare covers boat, crew, meals and snorkeling gear; guide and documentation are on request.
Up to 10 guests or up to 18: how the size ladder works
The ladder has two rungs. Up to 10 guests, you choose among Akassa Cruise, Derya and Giona: Giona has the lowest price, Derya and Akassa Cruise give more space, and Akassa Cruise, with 3 suites, is the most private. From 11 to 18 guests, you charter Semesta Voyages, the only boat that carries more than 10.
Each boat is priced as a whole, by guest band. Giona has two bands, 1 to 5 and 6 to 10. Derya has three: 1 to 4, 5 to 8 and 9 to 10. Akassa Cruise has two, 1 to 4 and 5 to 10. Semesta Voyages has one flat band, 1 to 12.
On 3D2N, the lowest band reads IDR 45,000,000 (≈ USD 2,761) on Giona and IDR 62,000,000 (≈ USD 3,804) on Derya. Akassa Cruise starts at IDR 70,000,000 (≈ USD 4,294), and Semesta Voyages at IDR 106,000,000 (≈ USD 6,503). From the 13th guest, Semesta Voyages adds IDR 5,000,000 (≈ USD 307) per guest on 3D2N.
Fares run in two seasons: one card for January to May and September to December, and a higher one for June to August. This page uses the first, from the rate card dated 26 October 2026. From June to August, Giona's private card covers a smaller party than 10, so we confirm your party size in writing for those months.

Giona stays the lowest of the three boats at every head count: 10 guests cost IDR 52,000,000 (≈ USD 3,190) on Giona, IDR 69,000,000 (≈ USD 4,233) on Derya and IDR 78,000,000 (≈ USD 4,785) on Akassa Cruise. Derya gives more space, with the Padar VIP Suite balcony and bathtub. Akassa Cruise has a hot water system and 3 suites, the most private of the three.

What a private charter includes, and what is on request
The fare covers the whole boat and its crew, breakfast, lunch and dinner, and the gear on board. The lists below hold every line, the same on all four boats. Pickup and drop-off in Labuan Bajo are free, from your hotel, the airport or the harbor.
A guide and photo or video documentation are not in the fare. We arrange either on request as its own line, quoted before you pay, and the Friday departure includes both.
Park tickets sit outside every fare, and the park-fees page shows them per guest per day. A drone needs a park permit before it flies, and we never promise drone footage.

Keep your light windows: route options for sunrise and sunset
Every route carries the same two anchors for the light: Kalong at dusk on day 1, and Padar at first light on day 2. Padar sunrise falls between about 05:31 and 06:18 WITA across the year, and Kalong sunset between about 17:49 and 18:27. Longer routes add stops, not sunrises at Padar.
- 1. Board in Labuan Bajo from 10:00, then Kelor.
- 2. Snorkel Manjarite after lunch.
- 3. Kalong at dusk, flying foxes leaving the mangroves.
- 4. Padar ridge before sunrise, a 25 to 45 minute climb.
- 5. Komodo, then Pink Beach and Manta Point.
- 6. On 3D2N: Taka Makassar and Kanawa, back by 14:00.
This is the sample order, and the captain can change it on the day, anchorage included.
Clouds and haze can rewrite a morning, and no hour of light or sunset is guaranteed. Pink Beach is pale pink at its best in the morning; the example route reaches it after Komodo and lunch, so ask us if the morning matters more to you.
One night or three: the shorter and longer cards
The route length changes the bill and the number of stops. 2D1N starts at IDR 38,000,000 (≈ USD 2,331) on Giona and runs to IDR 83,000,000 (≈ USD 5,092) on Semesta Voyages. 4D3N starts at IDR 54,500,000 (≈ USD 3,344) on Giona and reaches IDR 153,000,000 (≈ USD 9,387) on Semesta Voyages.
On Semesta Voyages, the add-on per guest from the 13th is IDR 4,000,000 (≈ USD 245) on 2D1N and IDR 6,000,000 (≈ USD 368) on 4D3N. Derya, Giona and Akassa Cruise are priced for 10 guests at most on every route.
4D3N adds Gili Lawa Darat, Sebayur, Rangko Cave and Bidadari to the 3D2N stops. The order for days 3 and 4 is an example, and the captain decides it. If you'd rather have a seat than the whole boat, the Friday open trip sells cabins by the person, 3D2N only.
June to August is quoted in writing from a higher card. Private rates for 2027 are on request, and until that card is issued the 2026 one stands, confirmed on WhatsApp.

Paying, canceling, and the standby phinisi
A deposit of 50% holds the date, and the balance is due 30 days before departure. The tables below show the refund by notice and the deposit schedule.
Children aged 0 to 2 travel free. From 3 the full fare applies. The whole boat is priced by guest band, so a child counts toward your band.
A breakdown, or a port or park order, can keep the boat in harbor. You then move to a phinisi of equal or higher standard on the same date, at no extra cost. If you'd rather not, a full refund within 14 days is yours instead. That promise is written into the quote.
You can pay by bank transfer or card, and every payment goes to PT Komodo Explorer Indonesia, NIB 1805260128363.

How much does a private phinisi cost for 10 people?
For 3D2N the whole boat costs IDR 52,000,000 (≈ USD 3,190) on Giona, IDR 69,000,000 (≈ USD 4,233) on Derya and IDR 78,000,000 (≈ USD 4,785) on Akassa Cruise, on the 2026 card. That works out to IDR 5,200,000 (≈ USD 319), IDR 6,900,000 (≈ USD 423) and IDR 7,800,000 (≈ USD 479) each. Park fees are extra.
Can a group of 12 or 14 share one private boat?
Yes, on Semesta Voyages only. Derya, Giona and Akassa Cruise stop at 10 guests. For 3D2N, Semesta Voyages costs IDR 106,000,000 (≈ USD 6,503) for 12 guests and IDR 116,000,000 (≈ USD 7,117) for 14, which is IDR 8,290,000 (≈ USD 509) each at 14.
Is a guide included in a private charter?
No. A private charter covers neither a guide nor photo or video documentation, though we add either on request at a separate price. The Friday open trip includes a local guide and documentation. Park rangers guide the treks on Komodo Island, and their fees sit outside the fare.
What is not included in the price of a private charter?
Park tickets and ranger fees, flights, hotel nights, travel insurance, personal expenses, tips, and the guide and documentation. The park ticket alone is IDR 250,000 per international visitor. A special dinner, decoration or larger vehicle is quoted as its own line.
What happens if the boat cannot sail?
If a breakdown or a port or park order keeps the boat in, we move you to a phinisi of equal or higher standard on the same date at no extra cost. You can take a full refund within 14 days instead.
Do I pay park fees on top of the charter?
Yes. Park tickets and ranger fees sit outside every fare. Entry is IDR 250,000 per international visitor, IDR 50,000 per Indonesian visitor on weekdays and IDR 75,000 on weekends. Our park fees page lists every line and a calculator for your party.
