Derya liveaboard departure dates are every Friday, 3 days and 2 nights from Labuan Bajo, Friday to Sunday. Seats start at IDR 6,500,000 (≈ USD 399) per person in a Rinca or Kanawa cabin. A date goes ahead once 2 cabins are booked, and we confirm availability in writing.

Friday is the only start day on the operator's schedule, and the trip runs Friday to Sunday. The next one on the calendar starts Friday, 6 November 2026. Two of the 4 cabins must be booked for a date to go ahead.

This is the shared departure, the open trip, and it sells cabins by the person, from IDR 6,500,000 (≈ USD 399) to IDR 8,500,000 (≈ USD 521). Two of the cabin names are stops on the route: Padar on day 2 and Kanawa on day 3.

For the whole boat on a date of your own, ask about a private charter. The cabins page prices it by head count, from 1 to 10 guests, and the dates are confirmed in writing.

Fixed dates: every Friday. A date runs once its minimum cabins are booked, and seats on each boat are confirmed on WhatsApp before you pay.

The Derya route, stop by stop

The 3D2N route, as a shot list:

  • 1. Day 1, from 10:00: board in Labuan Bajo, then Kelor and lunch.
  • 2. Day 1, afternoon: Manjarite, then Kalong at dusk.
  • 3. Day 2, before sunrise: Padar, with the light from the east.
  • 4. Day 2, morning: breakfast, Komodo, lunch, then Pink Beach.
  • 5. Day 2, afternoon: Manta Point, then dinner.
  • 6. Day 3: Taka Makassar, Kanawa, lunch, and the harbor by 14:00.

This is an example route, and the captain decides the order of stops and the anchorage on the day. Manta sightings are not guaranteed. Sun, cloud and haze set the actual light. The lower-deck Kanawa cabin carries the name of the day 3 stop.

Two start lines, one boat. On a Friday departure the meeting point and the time reach you in writing before you pay. On a private charter you board at the Labuan Bajo harbor from 10:00, and check-out falls by 14:00 on the last day.

Pickup in Labuan Bajo is free, from a hotel, the airport or the harbor, in both directions, at a time agreed in writing. The operator advises landing in Labuan Bajo one day before sailing, so a delayed flight does not cost the first stop.

Booking runs through PT Komodo Explorer Indonesia, NIB 1805260128363, a booking partner of Akassa Project. At sea, the Derya crew runs the trip.

Reading the Derya calendar

A Friday on the calendar reads one of four ways: Few cabins left, Sold out, At sea now or Sailed. A Friday with none of these has room.

The button on an open date says Ask about this date. Press it and WhatsApp opens with the date already in the message. Add the cabin you want and your head count, and we reply with a written answer.

Four cabins and a minimum of 2 means half the boat decides whether a date sails. 2027 dates and fares are confirmed in writing. The cabins page lists the four seat fares, and the compare page lines Derya up against the other boats.

What day does Derya sail?

Derya sails every Friday on the shared departure, 3D2N from Labuan Bajo, Friday to Sunday. Every start date on the operator's schedule is a Friday. Seats start at IDR 6,500,000 (≈ USD 399) per person in Rinca or Kanawa, and we confirm availability in writing before you pay.

How many cabins must be booked on Derya?

A date runs once 2 of the 4 cabins are booked. Each cabin needs 2 guests at the per-person fare: IDR 8,500,000 (≈ USD 521) for Padar, IDR 7,500,000 (≈ USD 460) for Komodo, IDR 6,500,000 (≈ USD 399) for Rinca and Kanawa. If a date misses its minimum, we tell you in writing.

Can I charter Derya on a different day?

Yes. A private charter takes the whole boat for 2D1N, 3D2N or 4D3N on dates confirmed in writing. For 3D2N it costs IDR 62,000,000 (≈ USD 3,804) for 1 to 4 guests, IDR 65,000,000 (≈ USD 3,988) for 5 to 8 and IDR 69,000,000 (≈ USD 4,233) for 9 to 10. Boarding is from 10:00.

Does Derya sail in 2027?

2027 seat fares and 2027 private rates are confirmed in writing and not shown here. Send us the month and your party size, and we reply with dates and a fare. The 2026 figures on this page follow the rate card dated 26 October 2026.

Can I book a Komodo trip for 2027 already?

Friday dates for 2027 are on the calendar. 2027 private rates and seat fares are quoted in writing before you pay, and the 2026 rate card applies until then.
